I was elected in May last year on a clear manifesto commitment to support Scotland’s place in the United Kingdom and will oppose any second independence referendum every step of the way.
The SNP promised that the independence referendum in 2014 was a once in a generation event and they should be held to that promise.
That is why the Scottish Conservatives, as Scotland’s main opposition party, will hold the SNP to account to ensure they focus not on separation but on governing Scotland.
I will be holding a public meeting to make the case against a second independence referendum at the Community Hub in Bearsden, 69 Drymen Road, G61 3QT on Friday the 28th of April at 6.30 pm
I would be delighted if you could join us there.
